INDIA !!

It is quite a challenge to post to our blog from India, everything here has its own life and rythm, especially things electrical and mechanical....Here are some descriptions of our journey from Jim...there are five of us travelling together: Jim Quigley and Carol Stewart, Duncan and Rosalyn Grady, and Terence Buie. We arrived here a month ago, around September 22nd, and since then have travelled into the Himalayas, to the source of the Ganges at Gangotri, to Rishikesh - home for many holy men (and women), sadhus and babas of all kinds. We then headed east to Varanasi, and did a "dharma yatra", visiting the four sacred sites of Buddhism: where the Buddha was born (Lumbini, in Nepal), was enlightened (Bodh Gaya), gave his first teaching (Sarnath), and died (Kushinagar, in Northern India). It was quite the journey....and hopefully we'll be able to post some photos from our travels...Right now we're back in Varanasi, and will be heading to see the temples of Khajuraho in a few days, then on to the Taj Mahal and west to Rajasthan....love and blessings from us all.
